Will the universal tint match my skin tone?
HydraTint was formulated with a neutral tint built to blend across most skin tones — light to medium-deep. The tint is sheer, so it adds glow rather than coverage. If you wear foundation, layer HydraTint underneath.
Is there a dupe for HydraTint?
HydraTint's combination of mineral-only filters, universal tint, and Ectoin/algae antioxidant defense is hard to replicate. Most so-called dupes either skip the antioxidant layer or use chemical filters that aren't safe for post-procedure skin.
Is SPF 36 enough, or should I look for SPF 50?
SPF 36 blocks roughly 97% of UVB rays; SPF 50 blocks about 98%. The bigger factor is application — most people apply only a quarter of the recommended amount. Proper coverage (one full teaspoon for face and neck) and reapplication matter more than the SPF number.
Can I use it on freshly treated skin?
Yes. The mineral, fragrance-free, non-comedogenic formula was specifically designed for sensitive and post-procedure skin. It's safe to apply once your provider clears you to resume sun protection.
Is it water-resistant?
