Bruise Care Bundle · Pre & Post-Procedure

The bruise recovery duo we send home with every injectable client.

Boiron Arnicare Cream and Arnicare Pellets are the gold-standard homeopathic protocol for managing bruising and swelling — from injectables, surgery, sports injuries, and everyday bumps. The cream works topically on visible discoloration; the pellets work systemically from the inside out. Together, they're the recovery duo we recommend before and after every Botox, filler, and microneedling appointment.

What's inside

Arnicare Cream 2.5 oz · Topical Homeopathic
Arnicare Pellets 3 tubes · 80 pellets each · Oral Homeopathic

Who it's for

All adults — most commonly used for:

Post-injectable bruising (Botox, filler) Post-microneedling recovery Post-laser bruising Post-surgical recovery Muscle soreness & stiffness Sports & activity bruising Everyday bumps & swelling

Why it works

Arnica Montana 1X HPUS (Cream)

A homeopathic dilution of arnica flower extract — the topical active that addresses muscle pain, swelling, and the discoloration of bruising. Non-greasy, fragrance-free, paraben-free, and absorbs quickly without sticky residue.

Arnica Montana 30C HPUS (Pellets)

A homeopathic oral preparation that dissolves quickly under the tongue. Used for muscle pain, stiffness, swelling from injuries, and discoloration from bruises — works systemically rather than topically.

Sucrose & Lactose (Pellet Carrier)

The pellets dissolve in seconds under the tongue and have a slightly sweet, neutral taste. No flavorings, no dyes, no preservatives.

No drug interactions

Both the cream and pellets are homeopathic and have no known drug interactions — safe to use alongside prescription medication, blood thinners, and other recovery products. Always confirm with your provider if unsure.

How to use it

2–3 Days Before Procedure
  1. Begin pellets: 5 pellets under tongue, 3× daily
  2. Let pellets dissolve fully — don't chew or swallow whole
  3. Take at least 15 min before/after food, drink, or toothpaste
  4. Continue through the morning of your appointment
After Your Procedure
  1. Wait 4 hours after injectables before applying cream
  2. Massage cream gently into bruised areas 3× daily
  3. Continue pellets 5× under tongue every 4 hours, max 5× daily
  4. Continue both for 5–7 days or until bruising fades

Common questions

Does arnica really work for bruising?

Arnica has a long history in cosmetic dermatology and surgical recovery — it's the most commonly recommended bruise treatment in medspa and plastic surgery practices nationwide. The clinical evidence is mixed in formal studies, but the practical experience across millions of injectable patients is consistent: starting arnica 2–3 days before and continuing after a procedure visibly reduces bruise size, color intensity, and recovery time for most people.

When should I start using it before an appointment?

Start the pellets 2–3 days before. The cream is for after, once your provider clears you to apply topicals (usually 4 hours post-injectable, longer for filler if there's open skin). Pre-treatment dosing is the part most clients skip — and it's where most of the benefit comes from.

Can I use it with blood thinners or other medications?

Arnicare is homeopathic — meaning the active is highly diluted — and has no known drug interactions. That said, if you're on blood thinners (Coumadin, Eliquis, etc.), aspirin therapy, or any prescription that affects clotting, talk to your prescribing provider before starting. They may also have specific advice on stopping certain medications before your aesthetic procedure.

Is it safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Topical arnica cream is generally considered low-risk during pregnancy on intact (unbroken) skin. Oral arnica pellets are typically not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Always check with your OB or healthcare provider before using either during pregnancy.

Can I apply the cream right after Botox or filler?

Wait at least 4 hours before applying topicals over injection sites. For filler especially, your provider may want you to wait longer (sometimes 24 hours) before any rubbing or massage. The pellets, on the other hand, can be taken immediately after — they're systemic, not topical.

Should the pellets be chewed or swallowed?

Neither — they dissolve under the tongue. Place 5 pellets under your tongue and let them melt completely. Don't eat, drink, or brush your teeth for 15 minutes before or after dosing for best absorption.

Are there any side effects?

Both products are well-tolerated. Rare skin reactions to topical arnica can occur — patch test on the inner arm if you have sensitive skin or known plant allergies (especially to ragweed family). Stop use if you develop a rash. Don't apply the cream to broken skin or open wounds.

Do you ship, or can I pick up locally?

Both. Free shipping over $100 within the US, or pick up at our San Antonio location (20327 Interstate 10 Ste 140) — usually ready within 24 hours of ordering.

Why our team loves it

"This is the bundle we recommend to every injectable client — pellets pre-treatment, cream post. Clients who use it before AND after consistently bruise less and recover faster than clients who only start after the appointment. Pre-loading is the secret."
