Can my recipient use the In-Store Gift Card to buy products on davidama.com?
No — In-Store Gift Cards work only at appointment booking checkout in our scheduling system. For shopping skincare and retail products on davidama.com, you'd want our Online Gift Card instead. The two run on different systems and are not interchangeable.
Can I gift a specific treatment, or is it just a dollar value?
The gift card itself is a dollar value, but you can absolutely include a personalized message suggesting a specific treatment ("This is for the facial we talked about!" or "Use it on Botox — you've earned it."). The recipient picks their final service when booking.
Does the gift card expire?
No — In-Store Gift Cards do not expire. The balance stays on the recipient's account until they're ready to redeem it, so they can book their appointment whenever fits their schedule.
What if I bought the wrong type of gift card?

Can the recipient transfer the gift card to someone else?
Yes — gift cards are transferable. The recipient can forward the code to another person if they prefer. However, once a gift card is partially redeemed (used to pay for an appointment), the remaining balance stays tied to the recipient's account.
What if the recipient lives far from San Antonio?
Since In-Store Gift Cards require an in-person appointment at our San Antonio location, they're best suited for recipients who can travel to us. For long-distance recipients, our Online Gift Card is a better fit — it works on davidama.com with shipping to any address we serve.
