The brightening pads that fade dark spots without hydroquinone.

DaVida Skin Glow Pads are botanical brightening pads designed to address dark spots, melasma, and uneven tone — without hydroquinone, without retinoids, and without the irritation traditional dark-spot correctors deliver. Each pad combines 2% kojic acid, arbutin, and bearberry with a layered antioxidant complex (silymarin, ascorbic acid, emblica, curcumoids, green tea polyphenols) and an advanced penetration system that lets the brighteners get where they need to go.

Why people reach for it

Targets dark spots & melasma

2% kojic acid, arbutin, and bearberry — three clinically validated natural brighteners — work together to fade visible pigmentation over weeks of consistent use.

Hydroquinone-free, daily-safe

No 12-week cap, no rebound. Use as a long-term maintenance step indefinitely. Pairs with retinol or acids in your routine.

Antioxidant defense built in

Silymarin, ascorbic acid, emblica, curcumoids, and green tea polyphenols layer in protection against future pigmentary damage while addressing existing spots.

Quick-penetrating, easy-to-layer

Proprietary penetration system means pads absorb quickly and layer cleanly into your existing routine — no waiting, no pilling.

Who it's for

All skin types — designed to address:

Dark spots & age spots Melasma Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation Sun damage Uneven skin tone Hormonal pigmentation Hydroquinone alternative seekers Long-term pigment maintenance

Why it works

2% Kojic Acid

A clinically validated natural brightener derived from fungi — inhibits tyrosinase (the enzyme that produces melanin) and addresses persistent dark spots.

Arbutin

A botanical brightener that conditions skin and promotes an even tone — gentler than hydroquinone but works on the same pathway.

Bearberry Extract

Contains arbutin in its natural plant form — adds another layer of melanin-inhibition support.

Antioxidant Complex (Silymarin, Ascorbic Acid, Emblica, Curcumoids, Green Tea Polyphenols)

A five-antioxidant blend that calms the skin, brightens areas of pigmentation, and guards against the free-radical damage that drives new dark spots.

How to use it

Daily Use
  1. Cleanse and pat skin dry
  2. Wipe one pad over face, neck, and chest (avoid eye area)
  3. Allow to absorb for 30 seconds
  4. Layer your serums and moisturizer on top
Pigment Protocol
  1. Use 1–2x daily, AM and/or PM
  2. Pair with Vitamin C in the morning + retinol at night
  3. Daily SPF is non-negotiable — no SPF, no results
  4. 12-week minimum to see meaningful change in melasma or PIH

Common questions

How does it compare to hydroquinone?

Hydroquinone is the most aggressive dark-spot ingredient available, but it's only safe for short-term use (most providers cap at 12 weeks) and can cause rebound pigmentation. Glow Pads use kojic acid, arbutin, and bearberry — gentler, slower, but safe to stay on indefinitely without rebound.

How long until I see results?

Subtle brightness within 4–6 weeks. Real change in melasma, age spots, and PIH typically builds over 12+ weeks of consistent daily use. Pigment is one of the slowest concerns to treat — daily SPF is non-negotiable.

Can I use them with retinol?

Yes — apply the pad first, let absorb, then layer retinol on top. They work on different mechanisms (resurfacing vs. melanin inhibition) and complement each other.

Will the pads dry out my skin?

Some adjustment is normal. The ingredients are buffered with antioxidants, but always follow with moisturizer. Reduce frequency if drying persists.

How does it compare to MelanoLyte Tx or A-Luminate?

Different botanical philosophies. Glow Pads use kojic + arbutin + bearberry; MelanoLyte uses malic + licorice; A-Luminate uses tranexamic acid + peptides. All are hydroquinone-free, all work over 12+ weeks, all safe long-term. We recommend whichever fits your routine and skin best.

Are they pregnancy-safe?

Kojic acid and arbutin are generally considered low-risk during pregnancy, but always confirm with your provider before continuing during pregnancy or nursing.

Do you ship, or can I pick up locally?

Both. Free shipping over $100 within the US, or pick up at our San Antonio location (20327 Interstate 10 Ste 140) — usually ready within 24 hours of ordering.

Why our team loves it

"Glow Pads are what we recommend to clients who want a hydroquinone alternative they can stay on long-term. Each pad is dosed and ready — the convenience matters more than people expect, and consistency is what makes pigment results stick."
