The nighttime half of the pigment-correction protocol.
Epionce MelanoLyte Pigment Perfecting Serum is the evening companion to MelanoLyte Tx. Built around turmeric, licorice root, mulberry root, and yarrow — botanical brighteners that work overnight to fade dark spots, melasma, and uneven tone without hydroquinone or retinoids. Used together with MelanoLyte Tx, it's the most-recommended hydroquinone-free pigment correction protocol in the Epionce line.
Why people reach for it
Designed to work overnight when the skin is in repair mode — most pigment work happens at night, and MelanoLyte Serum is built for that window.
Turmeric, licorice, mulberry root, and yarrow combine to inhibit melanin overproduction and fade existing spots — without hydroquinone or rebound risk.
The combination of MelanoLyte Tx (day) and MelanoLyte Serum (night) is clinically proven more effective than either alone.
No 12-week cap, no rebound. Use as a long-term maintenance step indefinitely.
Who it's for
All skin types — designed to address:
Why it works
A botanical brightener and anti-inflammatory — historically used in skincare across South Asia for tone correction.
Inhibits tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for melanin production — addresses dark spots at the source.
Botanical extracts that calm inflammation and contribute to a more even, luminous complexion.
Hydration and antioxidant layer — keeps skin comfortable while the brightening complex works overnight.
How to use it

Common questions
Do I really need both MelanoLyte Tx and Serum?
Yes — they're clinically tested together and the day/night combination is the protocol. The Tx is your daytime layer; the Serum is your nighttime layer. You can buy them separately, but the result is meaningfully better when they're used as a system.
How long until I see dark spots fade?
Subtle brightness within 4–6 weeks. Real change in melasma, age spots, and PIH typically builds over 12+ weeks of consistent twice-daily use.
Can I use it with retinol?
Yes — apply MelanoLyte Serum first, then retinol on top. The botanical base buffers retinol-related irritation and the two work on different mechanisms (resurfacing vs. melanin inhibition).
Is it a hydroquinone alternative?
Yes. Hydroquinone is the most aggressive dark-spot ingredient available, but it can't be used long-term. MelanoLyte Serum is the long-term maintenance option — safe to stay on indefinitely.
Will it stain my pillowcase or makeup?
Turmeric can stain when used at high concentrations, but the formulation is engineered to absorb without residue. Apply, let absorb for 5 minutes, and you should be fine.
Do you ship, or can I pick up locally?
Both. Free shipping over $100 within the US, or pick up at our San Antonio location (20327 Interstate 10 Ste 140) — usually ready within 24 hours of ordering.
"MelanoLyte Serum is the half of the protocol that does the slow, quiet pigment work overnight. Pair it with the Tx, commit to 12 weeks of SPF, and the spot count just keeps dropping. There's no shortcut — but there is a system that works."
