Why book massage at DaVida

Four targeted techniques

Swedish for stress, Lymphatic Drain for swelling and detox, Deep Tissue for chronic tightness, Assisted Stretching for mobility and flexibility — choose what your body actually needs.

Real savings on packs

Save up to $48 on the 2-pack and $48 on the 3-pack compared to single-session pricing. Best for clients who plan to make massage a regular part of recovery, stress management, or aesthetic prep.

$85 first-time pricing

A welcome rate for first-time massage clients at DaVida — try any of the four techniques at $85 to find your fit before committing to a pack.

Pairs with the DaVida experience

Bundle a massage with a facial, peel, or post-procedure visit — lymphatic drain is especially popular after surgical, filler, or sculpting treatments to reduce swelling and bruising.

Who massage is for

Massage at DaVida is right for:

Stress & burnout Tight shoulders & back Chronic muscle pain Post-surgery recovery Post-procedure swelling Post-travel bloat Limited flexibility Posture issues Athletic recovery Pre-event relaxation Self-care routines Gift for someone you love

Our four massage techniques

Swedish Massage

A gentle, full-body massage using long, gliding strokes to boost circulation and ease mild tension. Best for stress relief, deep relaxation, and giving your nervous system a break. Our most-recommended option for first-time clients — approachable pressure with full-body benefit. Best for: stress, light tension, sleep quality, self-care days.

Lymphatic Drain Massage

A light-touch technique that stimulates your lymphatic system to flush toxins and excess fluid. Helps reduce swelling and inflammation, and supports immune function. Especially loved post-surgery, post-travel, or post-anything-salty. Often booked after liposuction, BBL, tummy tucks, fillers, or sculpting treatments to speed recovery and reduce visible swelling. Best for: post-op swelling, post-travel bloat, water retention, recovery.

Deep Tissue Massage

A focused therapy that reaches the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to break up knots and chronic tightness. Slow strokes, firm pressure, real relief for persistent aches and limited mobility. Not the same as Swedish with 'harder' pressure — Deep Tissue is a different technique designed for clients who carry tension that surface massage can't reach. Best for: chronic pain, knots, athletic recovery, postural tightness, desk shoulders.

Assisted Stretching

A practitioner-guided session of targeted deep stretches to improve flexibility, range of motion, and joint health. Eases stiffness, supports posture, and helps prevent injury — like yoga, but someone else does the work. Especially helpful for clients who sit at a desk most of the day, athletes between training cycles, or anyone whose body has stopped feeling 'open.' Best for: tight hips and hamstrings, limited range of motion, posture work, injury prevention.

Common questions

Which massage should I pick if I've never had one?

Swedish is almost always the right starting point. It's the most relaxing, the lightest in pressure, and gives you a feel for how massage works on your body. From there, many clients move to Deep Tissue (for chronic tightness) or Lymphatic Drain (after a procedure or before/after travel).

What's the difference between Swedish and Deep Tissue?

Swedish uses long, flowing strokes with light-to-medium pressure — the goal is relaxation and circulation. Deep Tissue uses slower, more targeted strokes with firm pressure to release deeper muscle layers — the goal is to undo knots and chronic tightness. Deep Tissue is not 'harder' Swedish; it's a different technique entirely.

Can I get Lymphatic Drain after surgery or filler?

Yes — Lymphatic Drain is one of the most-requested post-procedure treatments. It helps reduce swelling, bruising, and water retention. Timing depends on your procedure: most surgeons recommend starting Lymphatic Drain 48–72 hours after surgery, while filler and toxin patients can typically receive it within a few days. Always confirm timing with your provider first.

Can I split a pack across different massage types?

Yes. Your pack covers any combination — three Swedish sessions, or a Swedish + Lymphatic Drain + Deep Tissue, or any mix that fits your needs. All sessions are 60 minutes regardless of technique chosen.

Can I gift a massage or a pack?

Absolutely. Single sessions and packs both make excellent gifts — birthdays, Father's Day, anniversaries, post-baby, or just-because. We can issue a printable gift card or have one ready at the front desk. The recipient picks their technique when they book.

Why are massages only on Tuesdays and Saturdays?

Our licensed massage therapist is in-clinic on rotating Tuesdays and Saturdays. Saturdays book up the fastest, especially in summer — book a pack early to lock in the dates you want.

When do the packs expire?

All 2-packs and 3-packs must be fully redeemed by September 30, 2026. After that date, any unused sessions are forfeited. We recommend pre-booking your full pack at the time of purchase so the dates are locked in.

Why our team loves it

"Adding massage to DaVida means our patients can heal, glow, and decompress all under one roof. Pairing a facial with Swedish is a self-care reset. Pairing Lymphatic Drain with a sculpting visit speeds recovery. Pairing Deep Tissue with anything is just smart. Try one — pack a few — your body will tell you when to come back."
